Here's a quick and easy way to make oversized poster prints, costing about $12 per print. All it requires is a decent sized original file and a Costco membership.
1) Find your source image. If it's small, it's going to print out pretty pixelated — although the pixels can "blend" together visually when it's seen at a distance. Blow it up in Photoshop or something similar if you can. The optimal file size is 20x30 inches at 150dpi (this can be set in Photoshop under Image > Image Size).
2) Go on the Costco website and upload your photo. Set it to print at 20x30 and make it available to be picked up at your local store.
3) It'll usually be done within 2 hours, so then go to whatever locale you designated for pickup, and pick it up.
4) Next, you'll need a 20x30 poster board, which I usually find at Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, etc. It'll almost always show the size of the poster board near the price, and make sure you get one that matches the size of the print.
5) While you're there, pick up a glue stick. When you get home, glue stick the crap out of the poster board, ESPECIALLY THE EDGES. Then carefully align the poster print on the board (which can be tricky, because the print comes rolled up).
6) Finally, lay the newly created poster on a flat surface (floor) and if possible, weigh it down with books and other large, heavy objects. Aim to weigh down the whole surface, but if you only have 4 books (seriously? only 4 books?) then cover the corners to secure them and allow the glue to adhere well.
7) Bring the poster to the game and embarrass the opponent or encourage the Aztecs — or both
8) Repeat steps 1-7 for the next game
