Just curious why you guys don't show up for the Football games, i saw Geckshow running around the stadium and the bowl game, but that was about it. Maybe i haven't noticed you guys but i doubt it.
Just asking. Please make sure you guys heckle the shit out of Jimmer.

What blueaztec means to say is, WE ARE AT EVERY FREAKING FOOTBALL GAME!!!!11!!!1!1!!!!!!!
People just can't expect the same atmosphere and impact in a 70,000 seat stadium when the student section is raised 20 feet above the field and 50 feet away. Two different sports, two different atmospheres. You can't heckle football players like you can the end of the bench in Viejas. And really, do you think big faces are going to affect a field goal kicker when they wouldn't even be in the background?

My family has had season tix my entire life to football. I cheer my ass off like last year vs. Utah when I had to get removed from the middle of the Muss contingent. I know it's harder to quantify compared with bball, but we're definitely there cheering hard for each football game.

WOW i guess i better look harder next year. Maybe its because im usually at Club level, but i haven't seen that many students in the student section, especially at the Utah game.
My bad, from reading all your post now i feel bad for questioning your loyalty to SDSU, and no i don't expect you guys to hold up giant faces to distract the field goal kicker. But it would be funny as hell if you made one huge giant face to mess up the kicker.

i think they to fix effectiveness of students at football games would be to move them from the current end zone seats to field behind the visitor's bench. Also getting a yell leader or 2 would work well.

Might be wrong, but can't have as close an atmosphere at the Q as other stadiums. Hope next year'll be more full .. the stadium. Maybe movin is good .. understood the whole point of the banners over the seats to make it look full .. but compared to the rest of the stadium .. seemed like that corner was packed in .. while the rest of the stadium was open seating .. Anyone know any of the Football player's perspectives/thoughts on the football's student section/rest of the crowd? Also I got proof y'all were there .. got photos. So y'all keep doin what you do. |
