I am used to being the token "Hoff", but I'd like to know who is the pre-existing Hoff so I can learn my history and the legacy of the predecessor with the same last name as me.

Haha, surely you aren't suggesting that you be given Hoff's name. We all had to earn our way. I spent three seasons in the Side Show before moving over to the middle. Tec grey shirted, red shirted, and then some before we started pretending that we liked him. Travis had to sit through countless games during pre-shot clock era. Make your own name and pay your dues, but don't even suggest that you can push aside a founding father.

I was not suggesting, I was merely inquiring. I plan on paying my dues, through hard labor, through sickness and in health, through homework, through work, and through the overall laziness that engulfs my body every day of my life. I wish to bask in The Hoff's shadow and do his surname the greatest gift of all, it's legacy. I wish to continue the tradition of the glory and the devotion of The Hoff and maybe, one day, I may make my own name and legacy. I apologize profusely for the bluntness and lack of thought in my previous post, and with yours, and everyone else's permission, I wish to start my red shirt process with the intention of giving it my best shot.

Wait, we have last names? No one told you that rule number one of The Show is to legally adopt your Show name? Honestly, I've known some of these guys for 10 years and I still don't know their real names.

That used to be the case for me before everyone got facebook. one of my favorite stories is when dora met vince's dad Vince: "Dad this Dora, Dora this is my dad" Dora: "Brian! My name is Brian" Vince: "Oh yeah. Brian." Then whenever any of my friends come to postgame Woodstocks they are always super confused "WHY DO THEY CALL YOU TEC!!?" I dunno, it is what it is. |
