For the UNLV game . . . right after UNLV fans do their annoying REBELLLLLLLS chant and stop after being drowned out by The Show . . . we should say "ASSSSSSSSSHOOOOOOOOOLES" while doing their little pointy thing at their fans. Like these morons: youtu.be/xr2bKwiHSWINot a fan of curing on a large scale like that. (outside of the hey you suck chant)

I think THIS would be sick if you could get the whole section doing it at once during free throws or time outs to distract the team. REAL POTENTIAL HERE!!! Link is set to start right before the goods: youtu.be/iP-yYma6tx0?t=2m

The Rebels will only do their chant at the beginning of the game and if they go on to a big run.
Don't respond to it directly, it's what they want. Pay them no attention and start a let's go Aztecs or uprising.
The best part of taking over an opposing arena is how much attention the home fans pay to us. Looking our direction after every basket or big run. Be better than that and focus on SDSU and disrupting the actual rebel team. Not their fans.
The only time you should acknowledge the opposing fans in Viejas is doing the hey you suck chant or at the very end when you say "have a nice bus ride." I've made a sign for UNLV the last 3 years that just says "15 NORTH" on it and I hold it up right as we're about to win.
Besides that just drown out their rebel chants with pro sdsu chants.

Once the first 4 rows do it everyone iwll catch on.

Pretty simple and looks good, I like it. When would we use it? Just whenever the f*** we feel like it?

I'm thinking during free throws on the other side of the court (heads when closest to the Show Side) and during timeouts when the other team is closest to the Show Side . . . would be loud and eye grabbing at the same time. Or maybe when their team is inbounding Show Side

ahhhh! ive been trying to get this going for a few games now. the problem is that past the 1st few rows everyone is too excited to hold up the heads to follow anything we try and do with free throws. i think we need to get it on a flier if we're really serious about doing this. or tell everyone before we pass out the heads.

Just do it for a normal defensive possession. Especially if everybody yells the "WOA!" part of it it would look sooo cool.

Either way it has to be perfected as much as possible during the Chicago State game and REALLY BIG for the UNLV game.
Defensive possessions in the second half sounds good. Time outs During the first half.
First, if we could get as many people from The SHow to see the youtube clip we could get the buzz going, have it ready on the phones and sms blast it out to people.
Flyers could be put on every 4th seat to cut down costs but it would have to have some visuals and explain it pretty well.

I like the idea of free throws, very distracting and when somebody goes to the line someone gets on a chair and says "follow my arms with the heads and yell WOA" then when their player gets the ball we start it. While it works on defense it might be a little hard to set up and go unless you get a full 35 possession.

I have to agree, I don't think it would work as well on a defensive possession just because we don't know how long each one will last. I think it'd be great for free throws and maybe good for a laugh during a timeout.

Ugh. Defensive possessin is where it's at. The heads are already enough for free throws. Trust my judgement!

We should be fucking crazy. I mean, if you want, that is.. dont listen to me, I'm retired.. We should aim higher than what everyone else thinks of as conventional. Doing that hand waving shit during a defensive possession would be fucking HIGH IMPACT SHIT

Agreed. Start it after we score some points. by the time the ball has been dribbled up court it'll be in full effect.

It'll take a little while to catch on, but it'll work. What would be cool is if you sent a wave upwards. Kind of like at football games, but instead of around the arena, it goes upwards from the floor.

If someone wants to make a good descriptive flyer to get this in full effect before UNLV I got 20 on it. You could start it right after every SDSU three point is made too, when the other team is inbounding and running towards The Show for the defensive position. That way there is a specific time that everyone knows to look down and follow the movements.
I am retired too, was in The Show before The Show became The Show. You guys know how it will work best so it's up to you.
Also, get the link and show as many people as possible before Chicago State game starts. While everyone is just chill.
